Hi, I’m Dede, and welcome to Dede’s Pet Services!

After many years working in IT, I reached a point where I knew I wanted a change. I wanted to do something that felt more rewarding, more personal and, quite honestly, involved a lot more dogs!

I’ve had dogs throughout my adult life and they have always been a huge part of my world. Sadly, earlier this year I found myself without a dog for the first time in many years, and I quickly realised just how much I missed having four paws around me.

So, rather than waiting for the next dog-shaped hole in my life to be filled, I decided to turn my love of animals into something positive and create Dede’s Pet Services.

I’ve always believed that dogs have a pretty special way of making life better. They’re loyal, loving, completely themselves — and, in my experience, often considerably easier to get along with than people! 🐶

Starting my own pet care business means I get to spend my working days doing something I genuinely enjoy, while helping other pet owners know that their beloved companions are being cared for by someone who truly loves animals.

I understand that your pets are family, and choosing someone to look after them is a big deal. That’s why I take the time to get to know every pet individually - their personality, their routines, their likes and dislikes, and all those little things that make them them.

I’ve also completed a Canine First Aid course and have Public Liability Insurance, because your pet’s safety and wellbeing are just as important to me as making sure they have a lovely time. I’m also a member of NarpsUK (The National Association of Registered Pet Sitters).

Whether it’s a walk, a pet sitting visit, some company while you’re out, or simply a helping hand with keeping your garden clean, my aim is always the same:

To give your pets the care, attention and affection they deserve — and give you peace of mind while they’re in my care.
